Each year, I teach a yearlong class. Past classes have included Psycho-Cosmos, an exploration of connections between the occult and psychoanalysis, and The Dream Seminars, a deep-dive into dreams in literature, film, and psychoanalysis. 

In 2027, we’re delving into mystical and so-called heretical texts near and dear to my heart. These will (mostly) be medieval Christian texts, and may include The Cloud of Unknowing, The Interior Castle, Julian of Norwich’s Showings, Marguerite Porete’s Mirror of Simple Souls, and Hilma af Klint’s visionary paintings.
