Want to write a book this year or work through a creative endeavor? Cool.

Every year, I offer a hardcore yet dreamy Accelerator Program based on the alchemical principles and planets. The alchemists of the old days sought to “accelerate” or “quicken” their work. By accelerate, they didn’t mean rush. They meant enliven.

This program is meant to help enliven and enrich your creative process and projects. This year, the Accelerator will happen during the last quarter of 2026, to help catapult your work from the realm of chaos into cosmos i.e. a well-ordered whole.

The accelerator is meant to help those at any stage in the creative process, in any genre or medium. Bring a polished or unwieldy draft, an idea or almost-idea, anything. By the end of the 8 weeks, you’ll have a clear sense of the nature of your project: what it wants to be, its possible forms and futures. You’ll also acquire esoteric and practical tools for self-study and insight into your own practice.

This is the third year I’m offering The Accelerator, and I love it. The first two rounds were a blast, and a variety of incredibly cool projects (everything from sculptures to novels to paintings to poetry and beyond) took shape. The cohort is always wonderful.

The alchemists thought of their work as a “quickening.” Quickening did not have to do, necessarily, with speed or haste. Rather: Making the work more alive, FINDING ITS ESSENCE, and BECOMING more alive oneself.

• You find yourself at a crossroads or a dark wood in your artistic process

• You want to join a small and cool cohort of creatives and get some respite from the sometimes lonely process of making things

What you get with The Accelerator:

• Once a week one-hour 1-1 sessions with me where we discuss the shape your project is taking, your goals, etc. These can take many different forms, and can be as micro or macro as necessary, depending on the kind of support you want and how your book is incubating-–i.e. anything from chapter outlines and big ideas to nitty gritty editorial questions.
  

• A deep dive into your astrology chart (in our first 1-1 session together, we look at your astrology and find clues in your chart about your process, topics, and practice).
  

• Once a week 1.5 hour cohort group meetings (Saturdays at 3pm ET) for accountability and inspiration. We’ll discuss our work, learn from each other, and hang out. I build these sessions around the astrological planets, occult creative practices based on alchemy, and words or works from poets, writers, and artists.
  

• A corresponding digital workbook which you’ll receive prior to the start date, to help you shape your project, handcrafted by me based on years of experience editing and helping authors hone their visions (plus my experience writing my own books). A psychedelic and rigorous combination of exercises based on the alchemical process and planets. It will help you get to know your methods, inspirations, and goals both practically and esoterically. You can use this workbook over and over again, for any number of projects.
  

• Unlimited email exchanges with me re: how it’s going. Think of me as a resource and support system for these 8 weeks. I’m happy to answer any questions, offer feedback, big picture editorial support, or astrological insight.
  

• A group discord server for sharing inspiration, process notes, questions, concerns, triumphs, gossip.

About Me

I’m a writer working across disciplines. I’ve published four books of poetry and two novels. Additionally, I have written about visual art, cinema, and culture for a number of publications. I went to school for writing and visual art, and have 10+ years of experience as an editor and teacher, helping a variety of different projects make it into the world, from poetry books to novels to non-fiction to paintings. In my private astrology practice, I work with artists and writers, using the birth chart as a source of cosmic intel about creative blueprints. I’ve also been teaching classes on writing, the occult, and psychology/philosophy for many years. I love to combine the cosmic and the everyday to help others see more clearly the works they may already have brewing.
